Itinerary

Make your own way from Dublin Airport to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free to explore the friendly city of Dublin. Later, meet your fellow travellers at the hotel for a welcome meeting.

Overnight: The College Green Hotel

After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a panoramic tour of Dublin city. Discover the north and south side of the River Liffey. On the north side see the GPO, O’Connell Street, Custom House along the quays, as well as Phoenix Park, the largest public park in Europe. The sophisticated south side features vast Georgian squares, such as Merrion Square, where Oscar Wilde’s House can still be found, St. Stephen’s Green & its famous colourful doors, and the lively shopping strip of Grafton Street. This part of the city is also dominated by Trinity College, which houses the famous 1200-year-old medieval manuscript Book of Kells on permanently displayed in its library. Later today, enjoy a private tour of MoLI Historic House followed by a welcome drinks’ reception in one of the house’s Georgian rooms. Continue to Pearl Brasserie, where you will feast on a three course dinner.

To make the experience even more special, there is the unique opportunity to meet with one of the distillers. Later travel to Galway and enjoy free time in the city before continuing to Cong and the magnificent Ashford Castle. This morning, enjoy a private falconry experience at Ashford Castle before leaving for the day. Home to Ireland’s oldest established school of falconry, this unique encounter invites you to fly a Harris Hawk under the guidance of expert falconers. As your hawk soars through the forest and returns to your gloved hand, you’ll feel an extraordinary bond with one of nature’s most majestic birds. Set against the fairytale backdrop of Ashford’s woodlands and lakes, this is a moment of quiet awe, connection, and unforgettable grace – a rare privilege that captures the spirit of Irish nobility and the timeless magic of the wild. Next, head out on a day tour of Connemara, a land of lakes and rivers, bogs and mountains. Discover small villages where Gaelic is still the spoken language, take in spectacular views of the ocean and the beautiful fjord of Killary Harbour, as well as the spectacular mountains. Visit DK Oyster Farm and experience a rare opportunity to witness the meticulous craft of oyster farming, following their remarkable three-year journey from seed to plate. Indulge in the freshest taste of Connemara as you savour a just-harvested oyster straight from the waters of Ballinakill Bay. Later, experience an exclusive visit to Kylemore Abbey, one of Ireland’s most enchanting and storied estates. This immersive experience includes a beautifully curated exhibition which unveils the rich history of the house and its inhabitants. You will also have the rare opportunity to enjoy a private tour of the walled Victorian gardens with Kylemore’s esteemed head gardener. Return to Ashford Castle and an evening at leisure.

Following breakfast, prepare for a unique adventure to Inis Oirr, the smallest of the three Aran Islands. The short eight-minute flight to Inis Oirr affords commanding views of the islands, Galway Bay and the Connemara coastline. Relax with refreshments at a local pub before visiting the Arts Centre. Get a glimpse of the island’s history, culture, heritage and traditions including a craft workshop with Máirtín a local islander and expert craftsman. Enjoy lunch hosted by Alissa at her private home where you will be served a feast of local produce. Following lunch, embark on a tour of the island, visiting a shipwreck, underground church and 15th century O’Brien’s castle, perched on the highest point of the island. Tonight, step back in time for a lively and atmospheric evening at Bunratty Castle. Dine by candlelight in the historic Great Hall, feasting on a four course meal inspired by traditional Irish fare, all accompanied by mead, music, and merriment.

The journey continues to County Clare through the Burren region. The Burren is the smallest of Ireland’s national parks and has been described as a lunar landscape, mirrored nowhere else in Western Europe. Continue to visit the Cliffs of Moher, Ireland’s most popular tourist attraction outside of Dublin. Marvel at the sheer scale of this stunning landscape, with the sea cliffs rising to over 200 metres from the Atlantic Ocean. Travel to Killarney via the Shannon Car Ferry. This evening, enjoy an exclusive tour and taste experience born from the collaboration between the Tan Yard and Killarney Urban Farm. After a guided tour of the farm, indulge in an exclusive three course meal at The Tan Yard. Each of the dishes on this unique menu features an array of ingredients produced at Killarney Urban Farm paired with produce from local farmers and suppliers.

After breakfast, the day begins with the highlights of the Ring of Kerry. Visit Molls’ Gap for a spectacular photographic viewing point. The famous Ladies View scenic lookout, gives a different perspective of this magnificent countryside, with the three Lakes of Killarney all surrounded by the Kerry Mountains. Continue to the heritage town of Kenmare, known for its fine restaurants, hotels and interesting craft shops. Later, experience the timeless elegance of afternoon tea at Sheen Falls Lodge. Indulge in impressive assortment of sandwiches, delicate pastries, fresh scones with clotted cream and preserves, and exquisite cakes. Return to Killarney at the end of the afternoon and enjoy some time at leisure.

Today, go behind the scenes of one of the most beautiful, and exclusive stud farms in the world, Kildangan Stud. This farm extends to almost 1,500 acres and accommodates more than 400 horses with a team of 150 employees. This historic property dates to early days of the 18th century and today it is one of the few great Irish Estates whose lands and buildings remain intact. Experience a detailed and personal guide-led walking tour of the historic estate with access to some of the world’s top thoroughbred stallions. Learn about its history and current operation along with the opportunity to gain a unique insight into the phenomenal story of Godolphin and its global success. Later, travel to the hotel in Kildare where you have time to relax in the spa, golf or simply enjoy the grounds. Tonight enjoy a wonderful farewell dinner at the hotel in their Michelin Starred, The Morrison Room. Head Chef, Adam Nevin creates imaginative, thoughtful and skilful seasonal menus, drawing on fine Irish local and foraged ingredients to showcase some of Kildare, and the country’s most talented and dedicated artisan producers.
